James Sampsell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sampsell (Bennington, Vermont), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on May 16, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles B. Sampsell and Marion Sampsell (Mackay); and his brother Charles "Chuck" Sampsell. He is survived by : his wife Arla Worthington (Crosier); his children, Terrance J. Sampsell of Longmont, CO, Andrew A. Sampsell (Kimberley) of Bennington, Joseph C. Sampsell (Lynn M. Roberto) of Springfield, VT, Timothy R. Sampsell of Bennington, VT and Bridgette S. Worthington (Paul) of Pownal, VT.; his stepchildren, Paul M. Worthington (Bridgette) of Pownal, VT, Amanda W. Hall of Bennington and David E. Worthington (Erin Rogers) of Shaftsbury, VT.; his grandchildren, Elizabeth K. Sampsell, Ethan J. Sampsell, Andrew J. Sampsell, Kara A. Sampsell, Adam J. Sampsell, Caroline A. Worthington, Catherine J. Worthington, Joshua B. Worthington, Phebe J. Hall, Kylee T. Hall, Brayden J. Rogers and Evan P. Worthington; his siblings, Marion "Susie" Wade of Elmira and Norman Sampsell of Elmira; and his siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Draht of Pine City, NY and Simeon Crosier of Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
