She was predeceased by: her parents, John LaFountain and Marjorie LaFountain (Bacon); her grandson Aaron LaFountain; and her siblings, Joanne LaFountain, Dorothy Kelly and David LaFountain.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph H. Rousseau of Bennington; her children, James J. LaFountain of Bennington, Marjorie A. Bossong (Frank) of Shaftsbury and Frederick L. LaFountain (Dawn) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Christopher J. LaFountain, Anthony M. Coon, Cassidy L. LaFountain, Trever M. Coon, Cameron LaFountain, Erin O'Toole, Michael, Kelly, Kim, Tristin Kastle and Sixteen; and her siblings, Marie West, John LaFountain, Judy Briggs, Shirley Boisvert, Rosemary Lillie, Paul LaFountain and Jean LaFountain. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
