He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond F. Knapp Sr. and Carrie Knapp (Gravel). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Knapp of Bennington; his children, John W. Knapp Jr. of Bennington, Jeffrey (Happy Knapp), Scott Knapp (Cheryl Bennington) and Tamara (Mitchel Harris); and his brother Raymond Knapp (Cynthia) of North Bennington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins and brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
