He is survived by: his spouse Auleta Welch Thompson; his stepson Donald Thompson (Helen); his stepdaughter-in-law Norma Thompson; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Thompson, Daniel Thompson, Lisa Midura and Danielle Thompson; his niece Barbara Wetherell; and his great-nephew Brandon Wetherell.
