It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Layton Durkee Sr. (Bennington, Vermont), born in Cambridge, New York, who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Durkee and Mary Durkee (Lackey); and his siblings, Edward A., Loren Durkee and Virginia Durkee.
He is survived by: his children, Layton L. Durkee Jr. (Jenifer) of North Bennington, Ginger North, Jeff Jennings of Bennington and Stephen Durkee of Bennington; his grandchildren, Brittany Drayton, Brieana Durkee, Tanner Durkee, Eric North and Marissa North; his great grandchildren, Olivia Duffany and Luca Drayton; and his sister Doris Brooks of Hoosick Falls, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
