It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Whalen (Bennington, Vermont), born in Brattleboro, Vermont, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husbands, James D'arcy Whalen and Cranford Waldrop; her children, Wendy Whalen and Michael Waldrop; her siblings, Francis Shallow and Madeline Lato; and her parents, Earl Shallow and Marjorie Squires Shallow.

She is survived by : her children, Shaun (Angie Whalen), Sheila (Matt Cook), Dan Whalen (Sharon McQueen), Jeff (Christine Waldrop), Kerry Whalen of Hayesville, NC. and Paul (Lisa Waldrop). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
