He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wheeler and Marion Williams Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Holly Wheeler of West Halifax, VT; his daughters, Kristy Dansereau of Westminster, VT, Renee Wheeler of Adams, MA and Morgan Wheeler of Whitingham, VT; his siblings, George Wheeler Jr. of Bernardston, MA, Jim Wheeler of Eving, MA, Billy Wheeler of Readsboro, VT and Shirley McNish of Halifax, VT; and his grandchildren, Grace, Jack and Zoey. He is also survived by 6 nieces.
