He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldis Hill and Mildred Hill (Greene); his wife Linda M. Tifft; and his siblings, Trina Olson, Kathy McCart, Shirley Hill, Aldis Hill and Hollis Hill.

He is survived by: his son Robert Hlil Jr. of Bennington; and his brothers, William Hill (Kathy) of White Creek, NY and Bradley Hill of Bennington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
