He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Leary (Kitty); and his sisters, Katie Ziegenhagen and June Gutbier. He is survived by: his former wife Katherine McEckron; his son Robert T. Leary, Jr. (Ann); his grandsons, Colby Leary and Jacob Leary; and his brother Daniel Leary.
