He is survived by : his mother Alzada Murdock of Whitingham; his wife Althea; his sons, Alex Roberts of Texas, John Roberts, III of Indiana and Jeremiah Roberts of Burlington; and his siblings, Keith Roberts of Brookfield and Rebecca Goodson of South Carolina.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
