Clara M. Lavender Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clara M. Lavender (Brattleboro, Vermont), who passed away on July 9, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her brother Ronald Finnell; and her close friend Suzi Hamblin. She is survived by : her parents, Everett Finnell and Marjorie Finnell (Benjamin); her spouse Francis "Mike" Lavender; her children, Melissa McAuliffe (Paul) of Brattleboro and Michael Paul Lavender (Cindy) of Marblehead, MA; her siblings, Larry Finnell (Ellen) of Milford, CT, Michael Finnell (Diane), Benjamin Finnell (Sheila), Patricia "Pat" Finnell of Brattleboro, Sharon Ward (David) of Spofford and Linda Haskell (Douglas) of Merrimack, NH.; and also, Christopher of Brattleboro, Ryan of Brattleboro, Austin of Marblehead, MA, Brady of Marblehead, MA and Alec of Marblehead, MA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her extended family on the Lavender/Blanchette side as well as a number of loving friends.

Visiting hours will be held at Saint Michael's Church on Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Claire's name may be made to St. Brigid's Kitchen Renovation Fund, 47 Walnut St., Brattleboro, VT 05301 or to the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Oncology Department, 17 Belmont Ave., Brattleboro, VT 05301.
