It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Mary Porter (Brattleboro, Vermont), born in Bellows Falls, Vermont, who passed away on December 16, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John B. Oski and Stephania Oski (Sysko); her husband John Larkin Porter; and her son Dr. John "Jay" Porter of Woodstock, VT.. She is survived by : her children, Diane Chattman (Bruce) of South Burlington, VT, Gladys O'Connor (Tom) of Lebanon, PA, Linda Wilber (Jeff) and Michael Porter (Melissa) of Greenfield, MA; her daughter-in-law Janice Porter of Woodstock, VT.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bradley, Jessica Porter, Greta Chattman, Mary Ellen Anderson, John Anderson, David Martel, Betsy Albers, Benjamin Wilber, Alex Porter and Blake Porter; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Daniel, Laura Bradley, Amelia, Grant, Elizabeth Haas, Logan Anderson, Erica and Brian Martel. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Helen's name be made to St. Michael's School, 48 Walnut St., Brattleboro, VT 05301.
