She was predeceased by : her children, Alan Smart and Susan Smart. She is survived by : her parents, Andrew Jackson and Louise Jackson (Hodgkins); her spouse Francis Smart; her children, Shari Russell of Baraboo, WI, Teri Tu of Bow and Gary Smart of Brattleboro; and her brothers, Wayne Jackson of Aurora, CO and Gordon Jackson of Gales Ferry, CT.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
