Catherine Turner Varney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Turner Varney of Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on October 27, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edith Charlotte (Merchant) and George Wilbur Coburn Turner; her husband Harry Ross Varney; her children, Linda Reinhalter (Steve) of North Carolina, Suzanne Johnsrud (Erik) of Utah, Dorothy Hill (Jeff) of Charlotte, VT, Carol Varney of Florida and Robert Varney (Donna) of Jericho, VT.; her brothers, Robert Turner (Pat) and Gerald Turner; and her granddaughter Sara Jo Varney. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
