He was predeceased by: his father Richard P. McDowell. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Dickinson McDowell of South Burlington; and his siblings, Sandra McDowell of Waitsfield, Susan Stevens (Stuart) of South Burlington, Maryanne Bianca of Jasper, TX and T. J. McDowell (Deb) of Shelburne. He is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
