It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olis Thurston (Corinth, Vermont), who passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Olis Thurston to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Claflin and Vera Claflin (Munroe); her children, Roberto, Armon Thurston and Zelta Corliss; her siblings, Franklin Claflin and Olive Eggleston; and her brother-in-law Norman Thurston.

She is survived by : her husband Clarence Thurston; her children, Sidney Thurston of Corinth, VT, Sidonie MacRitchie of Montpelier, VT and Fleeta Thurston of Fairlee, VT; her stepson Burton Valliant (Harriet) of Beloit, IL; her siblings, Junis Thurston (Mahlon) of Bradford, VT, John Claflin (Juanita) of Ocala, FL and Ralph Claflin (Mary) of Orange, VT; her sister-in-law Diane Claflin of Corinth, VT; and her friend Betty Sarazin of Corinth, VT.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to local animal rescue groups and humane societies.
