It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert McCrillis Carter III (Corinth, Vermont), born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on July 31, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his spouse Christine Spaulding; his children, Noreen Hinton (Russell) of Newport, VT, Andrea Kidder of Eden, VT, Dan Carter of Corinth, VT and Calvin Carter of Stowe, VT; his grandchildren, Alexander Russell (Christine) of Newport, Jesse Russell, Julia Morse of Berlin, VT, Sonya Hinton (Matt Vreeland) of Bradford, VT and Skyler Hinton of Newport, VT; and his great grandchildren, Liberty Russell, Ivy Russell, Althea Russell and Emmett Russell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
