With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan L. McDonald of Derby, Vermont, born in Barre, Vermont, who passed away on September 5, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Weltha Magoon and Forest Ormsbee; her sister-in-law Opal Judd; her niece Marilyn Nadeau; and her siblings, Elroy Davio, Robert Davio, Elwood Davio and Alma Blay.

She is survived by : her children, Dana Kennison of Derby, Kim Dupuis (Raymond) of Irasburg and Tracy Costa (Dave) of Island Pond; her grandchildren, Tina Royer (Derek) of Newport Center, Michelle Aiken (James) of Derby, Amanda Hastings of Derby, David Hicks of Michigan, Shaun Hastings of Derby, Eric Dupuis (Sarah) of Irasburg, Dominic Costa of Newport and Joshua Kuhaneck of Island Pond; her great grandchildren, Kristopher Aiken, Jayden Aiken, Henry Bean, Landen Dupuis, Noah Dupuis, Harper Dupuis, Avery Royer, Kensi Royer, Bentley Cartee and Adalynn Jones; her siblings, Kenneth (Rose Ormsbee) of Paris, Francis (Millie) of Newport and Janice (Earl Heath) of Montgomery; and her brother-in-law Gary Carter of Plainfield, Vermont..
