He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Charles R. Hastings and Doris Rowell; his spouse Bessie Graves; his child Lisa Hastings (David Whitcomb, Lori); his sister Elaine Hill; his children, Amanda Hastings, Shaun Hastings, Chelsea Tetreault and Ashley Green (Joshua Clad); his great grandchildren, Bentley Cartee, Adalynn Hastings, Aniyah Clad, Raylynn Hastings and Heather Tetreault; and his siblings, Lawrence Hastings (Peanut), Harry Hastings, Eda Jane Lyons and Marjorie Betty Flinn. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mary Wright Halo Foundation 1073 Upper Quarry Road Newport, Vt 05855 in his name.
