He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Lillis and Loretta Lillis (Capello); his daughter Valerie Lillis; and his nephew Christopher DeAngelo. He is survived by : his siblings, Richard Lillis and Elizabeth (Tony D'Angelo) of New York; his children, Joseph (Tabitha Lillis) and Cindy Lillis-Hanson (Damion); the parents of children, Debbie Dubois of Maine, Travis Fullan of Florida, Robert Fullan of New York, Joshua Lillis (Victoria) of Newport, Steven Lillis of New York and Holly Lillis of Newport; his grandchildren, Shaydin, Robert and Rhian; his great grandchildren, Cooper and Abilynn; his close friend Paul Essaf; and also Jill Lillis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pre-covid, he was heavily involved with prison ministries and spreading the word of the Lord for many years.
