He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Byrnes Dern; his friend Muriel Roeth of Manchester; his daughter Joyce Marie Dern Rollins (Dan) of Dorset, VT; his sister Suzanne Green of Florida; and his grandchildren, Orion, David, Sheila, Sarah, Christine and Claudia.
