He was predeceased by: his parents, Almira (Trombley) and George Sr.. He is survived by: his sons, Robert of Colchester and Brian (Gretchen) of North Carolina; his grandson Jacob; and his brothers, John (Donna), Tom (Carmen), Andy (Mary-Jean), Ron (Linda), Joe (Julie) and Mike (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home (9 Pleasant St, Essex Junction, VT 05452). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery (30 Lincoln St, Essex Junction, VT 05452).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in George's name to the Saint Francis Xavier parish.
