He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stys and Veronica Stys (Kulig); and his wife Roberta. He is survived by: his children, Rick Stys (Tammy) of North Carolina, Renée Vanyush (Mark) of Milton, Debra Mosher (George Abele) of Burlington, Michele Webb (Kevin) of Essex and Kathleen Dwyer (John) of Williston; his grandchildren, Stacey Mosher (Robert O'Brien), Justin Mosher (Heather Goodenough), Collin Vanyush (Sarah), Anna DeGraff (Javan), Sarah Webb (Brad Nutt), Nicholas Dwyer (Katelyn), Emma Dwyer, Victoria Cairns (Jacob) and Alexis Burke (John); and his great grandchildren, Annabel Cairns, Ethan Dwyer and Robert DeGraff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
