He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban M. Harvey and Olive Harvey; his stepmother Ann; his sisters, Bonnie Blake and Beverly Menard; his grandson CJ Poirier; and his son Bernard Harvey, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Morse Harvey; his daughter Pamela Hauck; his grandchildren, Christopher Lavee, Kari Lavee and Danielle Padgett (Chris); his daughter Robin Bilodeau; his grandchildren, Jenna Young (Eric), Courtney Anderson (Michael), Haley Gosselin, Kali Bilodeau and Jessi Legault (Ryan); his daughter-in-law Brenda Harvey Corey; his grandchildren-in-law, Benjamin and Brooke Harvey; his son Dennis Harvey; and his grandsons, Michael and Andrew Harvey. He is also survived by his eleven great-grandchildren.
