We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2019, at the age of 100, James A. Bowers (Hartland, Vermont) passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert D. Bowers and Goldie Bowers (Dean); his children, Betsy Bowers and James Bowers, Jr.; and his sisters, Ethel Bowers, Julia Rockwood, Hilda Frye and Beulah Curtis.

He is survived by : his spouse Phyllis Farnsworth; his children, Linda Busch (Fred) of West Windsor, Herbert Bowers (Ines) of Farwell, MI and Eric Bowers (Pamela Hanan) of Hartland; and his sister Marlene Somerville of Portsmouth, NH. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
