He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude D. Ammons, Sr. and Clara N. Ammons (Carter); his former wife Callie; his wife Sally Ammons (Foss); his children, Shalonda Ammons and Claude D. Ammons III (Kimberly); his parents-in-law, Robert and Mary Foss; and his sister-in-law Julia (Allen Cusson). He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless family and friends.
