He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hitchcock and Florence Hitchcock (Boozan); his siblings, Kay Hitchcock, John O. Hitchcock and Jean Locke (Hitchcock); his brothers-in-law, Aime Duval, Leonard Locke, Neil Playful and Kern Hanley; and his nephew Brent Duval.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hitchcock (Playful); his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law David Knight; his son John A. Hitchcock; his grandson Dustin Knight of Jeffersonville; his sister Jane Duval (Hitchcock); and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Hitchcock, Charlene Hanley, Linda Chamberlin and Ken Chamberlin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
