He was predeceased by : his parents, John Collins and Mary Collins (Murphy); and his wife Nancy. He is survived by : his children, John III (Ludlow), Peter (Raye Lin) of Mount Holly, Susan DeVarney (James) of Austin, TX and Margaret Ferro (Richard) of Milton, VT; his grandchildren, Melissa DeVarney, Patrick DeVarney, Alyssa Yamartino (Collins), Kateri Collins, Morgan Collins and Michael Ferro; and his siblings, Donald Collins (Carol), Stephen Collins (Asri Masran) and Mary Lynn Meunier (Collins). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
