She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ward and Grace Ward (Flanders); her husband Marshall Newland, Sr.; her sons, Robert Newland and Marshall Newland, Jr.; her granddaughters, Jenny Hackett and Samantha Newland; her great grandchild Prezlie Newland; her siblings, Wesley Ward and Carmelita Ward Hutchinson; her brothers-in-law, Everett Baird and Jerry Fournier; and her friend Elaine Humphrey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Bushey (Bob) of Rutland, VT, Marcia Hackett (Ricky) of East Burke, VT, Debora Bailey (Edward) of St. Johnsbury, VT and Wendy Simpson of Glover, VT; her daughter-in-law Brandy Newland of East Burke, VT; her sisters, Pearl Baird of St. Johnsbury, VT, Mildred Ward of Florida and Jean Fournier of Lyndonville, VT; and her sister-in-law Linda Ward Buck of Sutton, VT. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
