He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Broome and Laura Broome (LaBounty); and his sister Ann Leslie Magoon Broome. He is survived by: his children, George H. Broome, Jr. (Heidi) of East St, Lori Ann Broome-Farrow (Steve) of Goose Creek, SC, Gregory A. Broome of Lyndonville, VT, Angela Thresher (Hollis) of Holland, VT and Melissa O'Callaghan (Peter) of South Burlington, VT; his siblings, Theodore Broome (Gladys) of St. Johnsbury and Marilyn Sabota (Mike) of Salmon, ID; his grandchildren, Cheryl Brennan (Sean), Nathan Robinson (Jacqui), Christopher Robinson (Kayla), Justin Machell (Morgan Lane), Jacob Machell (Jacqueline Laviolette), Dillan Broome (Cassie Hastings) and Bailey Broome (Mason Brammell); his great grandchildren, Sadie, Ryan, Mira and Madilynn; and his sister-in-law Joyce McCullock.
