She was predeceased by : her parent Hortense Wilkie Smith; her stepfather Kenneth Smith; her husband Everett Hartwell; her son-in-law Howard Spencer; and her close friend Barbara Woodward (Ralph).
She is survived by : her children, Michael Hartwell (Annie), Nancy Graves Sutton (Fred) and Jody Garfield Sutton (Doug); her cousin Ginny Hammond (Bill) of Laconia, NH; her brother-in-law Steve Hartwell (Debbie) of Island Pond, VT; her grandchildren, Alannah, Jacob, Nathan, Tyler, Jayvin and Leanne; and her great grandchild Talen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
