It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Romeo R. Martel (Lyndonville, Vermont), who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Romeo Martel and Yvonne Martel (Gagne); his wife Marion Martel (Barnett); his son-in-law Fred Buxton; and his sister Theresa Brown.
He is survived by : his children, Joanne Martel (Jim Emmons) of Danville, VT, Eugene Martel (Tammy) of Lyndonville, Richard Martel (Kathy) of Waterford, Judith Buxton of St. Johnsbury, VT and Christopher Martel of St. Johnsbury; his siblings, Roger Martel (Marcia) of Waterford and Annette Cadieux (Roger) of St. Johnsbury; and his brother-in-law Eugene Brown of Waterford. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
