He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dana Eddy and Ellis Foster; his wife Carolyn Knapp; his sister Marion Foster of New York; and his children, Scott Foster (Alyce) of Vermont, David Foster (Lisa) of Vermont, Michael Foster (Sarah) of Massachusetts and Susan Drown (Chuck) of New Hampshire. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
