He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Pidgeon (Huntley) and Theodore Pidgeon; and his sister Jean. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Tucker; his stepchildren, Jill, Brian, Kevin and Matthew; his siblings, David of New Haven, VT and Linda (Howard Kelton) of East Middlebury, VT; his great-nephew Marcel of Sneads Ferry, NC; and his friend Frank Kurek of Westford, VT.
