He is survived by: his children, Joy LaFountain and Gordon LaFountain Jr. (Jenna) of Milton; his grandchildren, Carson, Emma and Noah; the mothers of children, Gordie and Joyce Shepard (Todd) of Milton; his siblings, Virginia Reid, Joyce Brown (Michael), Donna Bidwell (Dick), Marie Hill (Phil), Ronald (Laura), Randall (Lisa), Melanie Porwitzky (Michael) and Paulette Sweetser (Stillman); and his sister-in-law Linda LaFountain.
