He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Hayden and Ruth Hayden (Blanchard); his wife Paula Hayden of Milton; his daughters, Barbara Hayden (Paul Erickson) of Ferrisburgh and Jennifer Hayden (James Welch) of Milton; his granddaughter Abigail Hayden; and his siblings, David Hayden and Beverly Hayden of Milton.
