He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jeri" Messick of Milton; his children, Shawna Palmer (Dwight), Shawn Flanagan (Kathy Fitzgerald), Sidney Messick Jr. and Jennifer Messick; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kyle, Courtney Palmer and Tiffany DeGraff; his siblings, Linda McMillan and Myron Messick (Chrissy); his siblings' children, Johnathan Brisson, Tim Brisson (Robin) and Wendy Brisson-Derby (Richard); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Woods (Karen), Connor Brisson, Kiernan Brisson, Andrew Derby and Riley Derby; his friends, Anna Delorme and Al Corey; and also, Nathanial, Abigail Woods and Nancy Brisson (John).
Memorials in Sid's memory may be made to either St. Ann's Catholic Church in Milton in form of Masses, the Milton Council of the Knights of Columbus, The Parkinson's Assoc.
