As Patricia Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patricia Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the legacy Patricia Ann leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Glenn and Laura Mae Nicholson; her husband Spencer Whitney; her son Gavin Whitney; her brothers, Douglas and Frederick Nicholson; her nephew Billy Purdy; and her friend Mary Myers.

She is survived by : her daughter Lynnette Claudon (Paul) of Monkton; and her siblings, Steven Nicholson of Shrewsbury and Marjorie Magoon of Barre. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Guare & Sons, Barber & Lanier Funeral Home (30 School St, Montpelier, VT 05602). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at the Green Mountain Cemetery.
