He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Safranek and Irene Safranek (Wojcik); and his sister Janis Safranek. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Morse of Oxnard and Sheryl Morse of Geer, SC.; his sisters, Carolyn Torrance, Sharon Safranek of Ill and Annette Krupinski of Ind; and his brothers-in-law, Art Torrance and John Krupinski. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Vt Veterans Memorial Cemetery (487 Furnace Rd, Randolph Center, VT 05061). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center (487 Furnace Rd, Randolph Center, VT 05061).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the VFW.
