Tanguay (Newport, Vermont), born in Newport Center, Vermont, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilien Tanguay and Maria Tanguay (Dumont); his spouse Claire Lanoue; his children, Rachel and Norman; and his siblings, Rita Piette, Jeanne Boissannault, Marcel and Claude Tanguay.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Tanguay of Newport and Timothy Perkins of Newport; his sister Simone Fitzgerald of East Montpelier, VT; his grandchildren, Megen Velez Lopez (Alejandro) of Bronx, NY, Reanna Simpson (Logan) of Smithfield, NC and Alan Tanguay (Shannon Goodine) of St. Johnsbury, VT; his great grandchildren, Elise, Nora Simpson and Trinity Tanguay; his stepchildren, Gail Poutre, Rhonda Quirion and Donald Dutton; and his granddaughters, Danielle Moroney (Michael) and Gabrielle Cogan.
