Linda Greenwald Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2024, at the age of 98, Linda Greenwald (Newport, Vermont) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther George and Herbert L. George; her siblings, Vincent George, Ruth Cicchinelli, Evelyn Kane, Herbert L. George, Jr. and Mary George; her sister-in-law Rosemarie Wax (Greenwald); and her significant other Robert.
She is survived by: her niece Carol Wax; her sister Alberta Esther George; her children, Thomas (Barbara) of Red Hook, James (Carol Bradford) of Syracuse, Michael (Aline Carriere) of Newport Center and Wendy Matthews (Peter) of Newport Center, Vermont; her grandchildren, Robin Marvelli (Greenwald), Kara Greenwald, Andrew, Timothy Greenwald, Laura, William Greenwald, Julianna, Robert, Theresa, John and Christopher Matthews; and her friends, Vijaya Luxmi, Nancy, Richard Rigley and Kimberly Ashley. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
