She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Gray and Dorothy Gray (Maxwell); her son Douglas Fuller; her husbands, Donald Fuller and Viateur Fortin; and her brother-in-law Rob Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Hunter (Christopher), Holly Whitehead (Jeff) and Christine Amyot (Kevin); her grandchildren, Cameron Whitehead (Natasha), Dustin Hunter, Joshua Hunter, Caitlyn Hunter, Tyler Amyot, Connor Whitehead and Hannah Amyot; her great grandchildren, Eva, Remy and Rory Whitehead; her sisters, Joyce Grout (Ben) and Jo Lewis; and her stepchildren, Rachel Twofoot and Bob Fortin. She is also survived by other stepchildren and special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home (4670 Darling Hill Rd, Newport, VT 05855). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
If friends desire memorial contributions in Rita's name may be made to a charity of one's choice, Canterbury Inn or local animal shelter.
