It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Binns of Norton, Vermont, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Captain Francis Shrake and Noreen Flint; and her sister Mary Anne Montoya. She is survived by : her daughter Kate Gomez (Binns); and her son-in-law Ismael Gomez.
Her family would like to request that donations be sent in lieu of flowers to either the Island Pond Public Library (49 Mill St, Island Pond, VT 05846) or the Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Shelter, 502 Strawberry Acres.
