He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Sheridan and Irma Sheridan (Goodlin); his wife Paula Sheridan of Rutland; his children, Kyle Sheridan of Rutland, Erin Lorentz of Rutland and Colleen Sheridan of Rutland; and his brothers, Brian Sheridan of Long Island, NY and Kevin Sheridan. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
