He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J and Janice Mae Mott (Ladue); and his brother Louis Mott, Jr.. He is survived by: his friend Steve Morgan; his significant other Amy Daudelin; his children, Joseph, Corey, Ciarra and Savanna Mott; and his siblings, Linda Miller, James Mott, Sr., Karen Selig and Regina Mott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a celebration will be held later next summer.
