We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2024, at the age of 88, James S. Chittenden Jr. of South Burlington, Vermont, born in Burlington, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, J. Safford Chittenden and Reba Chittenden (Stowell); his sister Sandra C. Tallon; and his son Alan S. Chittenden. He is survived by : his wife Helen; his son Kent Chittenden; his daughter-in-law Michelle C. Badji; his grandchildren, Sandra Chittenden, Katherine Rice (Andrew), Patrick Chittenden (Jessica), Jake Chittenden (Avery) and Maya Chittenden; and his great grandchildren, Malakai, Aniyah, Trinity, Sarah, Odin, Allyna, Aliyah, Jake and Zavian.
