It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Chiari of South Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller and Mary Miller (Mazur); her son Theo Chiari, Jr.; her husband Ted; and her sister Vivian.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Chiari, Tom Chiari, Katherine Chiari of South Hero, VT, Amy Johnston of Arlington, MA and Stephanie Chiari of Braintree, MA; her daughter-in-law Michelle Chiari of Tigard, OR; and her grandchildren, Isabella, Dominic, Aedan, Camden, Stella and Ryan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as many grandnieces, grandnephews and great-grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ready Funeral Home (261 Shelburne Rd, Burlington, VT 05401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (305 Flynn Ave, Burlington, VT 05401). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (455 North Ave, Burlington, VT 05401).
The family respectfully requests that donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
