It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. Maddalena of Thetford, Vermont, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Maddalena and Paula Maddalena (McNamara); and his brother-in-law Lou Nadai. He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Siegel of Thetford; his daughter Hyla Maddalena of Thetford; his sisters, Anne Lombardo (Nick) of Grand Rapids, MI, Sara Dickerson (Bob) of Waterford, MI and Laura Nadai of Grand Rapids; his sister-in-law Laurel Siegel of Medford, MA; and his nephews, Nick (Lindsay), Adam (Liz), Joe (Lauren), Drew (Shannon) and Matt. He is also survived by other family members and many friends.

In Michael's memory, his family asks that loved ones send donations to Open Fields School (http://www.openfields.org) in Thetford.
