We bid farewell to Merlin Phillip Pierce of Waitsfield, Vermont, born in Warren, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Merlin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Pierce and Freda Pierce (Thompson); and his siblings, Edward Pierce, Robert Pierce, Frances Pierce, Virginia Jones, Marion Pearce, Elwin Pierce and Carol Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Pierce (Wade); his sisters, Hester Sheldon, Corrine Whitney and Harriet Whitney (Tiny); and his sister-in-law Betty Pierce. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Warren Town Hall.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the local Mad River Valley Little League in his honor.
