He is survived by : his father Robert Aylward, Sr.; his sons, Brandon and Alec Aylward of Massachusetts; his siblings, Jerri Lamson (Jim) of Moretown and Scott Aylward (Kimberly) of Oklahoma City, OK; his former life partner Kimberly Courchaine of Waterbury; and also Tammy of Highgate. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the University of Vermont Medical Cancer Center.
